I created this blog as a result of my interest in the Jodi Arias murder trial in Phoenix, Arizona for
the 2008 death of Travis Alexander. Mainstream media was clearly and without shame biased toward the prosecution. I was compelled for this reason and many others. I opened a twitter account and began interacting with some of the players in the investigation and the trial, as well as with thousands of trial watchers, the majority being on the side of guilt well before the trial even started. On twitter and facebook Jodi Arias and her public shaming became the first battle in the social media war on women.
~~~Inconvenient Truths is not a completely original title, as Al Gore used "An Inconvenient Truth" for his documentary on global warming. But it is the perfect title for what I have been drawn to my entire life. When I was a sophmore in high school, I created an underground newspaper. I called it N.B.S. for NoBullShit. I created a local magazine called "GUTS" some years ago. I also wrote an opinion column for the Tampa Tribune for awhile before it merged with the St. Petersburg Times. I have attention deficit disorder and I'm also dealing with Lyme disease these days, so my efforts here are sometimes scattered, unfinished, and in need of editing.
I've also written about what I believe was the murder of 28 year old Sandra Bland in Waller county, Texas after being stopped for a minor traffic violation, arrested and taken to jail where two days later she was discovered hanged, a garbage bag tied around her neck.
Two of my posts are about my family and the poisoning of my hometown, Anniston, Alabama by the Monsanto company through the dumping of PCB's (polychlorinated biphenyls) into the waterways. This is an epic tale of corporate greed, coverups, and collusion, all of course, inconvenient truths that go on. Forever.
